every thought and emotion

noticing the nihilism lurking

we all have difficulty dealing with uncertainty
planning with the randomness can feel like an absurdity
but trying to get rid of it will burden me
inadvertently trading my freedom for that security
and there is a paradox in being free

when that inherited narrative stops there we can spot
our own machinery where we can watch the scenery
